Paul Cook will be without midfielders Richie Ryan and John Russell for Saturday evenings Airtricity League game against UCD...
Ryan is suspended after his red card in The Carlisle Ground last week while Russell is yet to recover from a head injury he received in training. This leaves two positions up for grabs in the centre of midfield. Conor O'Grady is set to continue is place in the heart of the midfield, while Cook will decide later in the week who takes the other. Richard Brush and Mauro Almeida continue their time on the sidelines with long term injuries.
Gavin Peers is expected to return after he missed the Bray game through suspension,while Romuald Boco is set to make his second competitive home debut after scoring twice in three days against Bray and Everton.
As for U.C.D. Greg Bolger and Paul Corry will be missing. Greg Bolger is missing as he starts a two match suspention and Paul Corry is rested due to medical advice as he received a concusion in the first 10 mins against Dundalk. The good news for U.C.D. fans is that Brian Shortall may be fit enough for a place on the bench, he will face a late fitness test.
