Sligo Rovers can confirm they have rejected a bid from Portugese side Pacos Ferreira for Padraig Amond.
The club are very keen for Amond to stay at The Showgrounds as we look to build our challenge for honours this year.
The player has also stated his desire to continue his career with Sligo Rovers after enjoying such an excellent season so far with the Bit o’Red.
Sligo Rovers will be making no further comment on the matter as we build towards tonight’s crucial Airtricity Premier Division match with St Patrick’s Athletic.
