Padraig Amond transfer

After drawn out speculation Padraig Amond has moved to Portugese premier division club, Pacos Ferreira.
The bid (as far as I know) is beleived to be worth around €100,000 and wih 5% of that (€5000) of that due to go to Shamrock Rovers due to the fact that they trained the player before he was 18 and still played for them after. The deal went through on Tuesday morning after Amond passed his medical for the club. Amond was due to leave on Monday but faced a big scare when he could not find his passport but after ringing sevral T.D.s he got one just in time to get over before the transfer wndow closed.

My views on this transfer are very simple: Sligo Rovers should not have sold him at this point of the season as we do not have a recegnised goal scorer now. Blinkhorn and The King are not going to score to much between them!!
